More milk in less time

Like its predecessor, the Swing Maxi Flex™, the new Swing Maxi™ is a two-breast electric breast pump that allows you to pump from both breasts simultaneously, twice as fast as pumping from each breast separately. In addition, pumping from both breasts simultaneously has been shown to produce up to 18% more breast milk1.

2-Phase Expression™ technology

When breastfeeding, babies first suck in short, quick movements to trigger the flow of milk. As soon as the milk starts to flow, the baby adapts his sucking to a slower individual rhythm in order to drink. Medela's 2-Phase Expression™ technology mimics the natural rhythms of baby's sucking - first stimulating the flow of milk quickly, then slowing down to deeper and slower suction to ensure optimal milk flow.

PersonalFit Flex™ breast pad

With a 105° opening angle, a soft edge and an oval shape for a better fit, the PersonalFit Flex™ breast attachment puts less pressure on the milk ducts than traditional 90° breast attachments. Allows for more efficient and comfortable suction. More comfort for you and up to 11% more milk for your baby - clinically proven4. In the package you will find breast extensions in two sizes: 21 mm (size S) and 24 mm (size M).

Vacuum anywhere, even if there is no electrical outlet nearby

Thanks to the state-of-the-art USB-C port, the built-in battery can be charged faster than with the classic micro-USB port, and you can drain up to six times on a full charge!

Intuitive and simple operation

The Swing Maxi™ has nine vacuum intensity levels that you can select and control with four easy-to-use buttons. Assembling and cleaning the Swing Maxi™ double electric breast pump, which consists of only a few parts, is now a breeze!

Shorter stimulation phase

Studies using two-step technology5-9 have found that the first release of milk tends to be between 1 and 2 minutes, which is longer than a toddler10 reaches when breastfeeding. However, in research conditions, this time is usually longer than in a relaxed home environment11. At the same time, the first milk let-down is usually accelerated with repeated pumping12 (probably due to an adjustment of the milk let-down reflex). The time to first milk letdown has been shown to be faster with the new 105° breast attachment, with 90% of mothers having milk letdown within 2 minutes.9

The duration of the stimulation phase of the Swing Maxi™ NEW has been reduced to one minute to:
