First baby spoon I Can Spoon

I can do it myself! Sounds familiar? The ability to explore and experiment on their own is an important part of children's skill development. The founder of the I Can baby spoon has really taken it seriously! This spoon is a must for all children to learn to eat on their own.

The I Can Multigrip Spoon is a proven Swedish invention from 2013 that makes it easy for babies to start eating on their own - it is adapted for little hands. Thanks to the low weight and the multigrip function, the child can grip the spoon the way he wants. The pincer, thumb, precision, keyboard and cross grip is much more useful than the "whole hand grasp" that all other baby spoons are designed for. The child trains the fingers instead of the hand and the spoon provides an intuitive transition from eating with the hands.

According to experts , it is essential that food is a positive experience from the start. Many children also want to help themselves when eating. In the same way that food itself is an excellent way to develop motor skills, food is a good motivator.

The spoon is one of its kind

The I Can Spoon has a unique flat vertical handle. Allows the child to grasp the spoon in a "pincer grasp" with two or more fingers. Many other baby spoons encourage the use of a rather primitive whole-hand grip, which, although stable, hardly supports the development of motor skills and also learning to eat.
A hole can also be used (child's own choice) to provide contact between thumb and forefinger for added stability, and if the child wants, they can stick their thumb or forefinger through for a secure grip. The child thus has good opportunities for development, less clutter and above all is happier.

Benefits

  • The opening allows the use of thumb and cross finger grip.
